What I wish to become

I'd like to take some actions that fit into my daily routine. Here it goes...
 
Be Playful
To be more playful, I have to learn how to have fun everywhere, everytime. By taking baby steps, I believe I can make some real changes during time. There are tons of ways to have fun but actually doing them takes persistence so I'll also try to make this challenge more fun!!

My 365 Days Project

This is the first project I decide to take part in. A 365 days project allows me to look back my life clearly in a year. Achievements, relationship, new experiences. People are often too forgetful to remember all these great memories. Though posting a picture everyday would take me many efforts, but I hope I can be brave and persistent enough to accept this challenge! Sometimes I won't be able to take picture, so I would post a picture from Google which could best describe my day.

 Day 1, Thursday, February 10th, 2011

A Chopper hat! I bought this hat from Taipei International Book Exhibition! Don't you think the hat is cute? Now it is comfortably lying on my desk. I love wearing it very much!!







Today is also my sister's birthday on lunar calendar! She and my aunty went to 85℃ to buy strawberry cake! I just had two pieces of them! ^_^  Though I think the butter is a little oily but I still like it! I just couldn't imagine that my sister loves butter very much!!




 Day 2, Friday, February 11th, 2011

 I wrote calligraphy in Japanese! It is my first time to write in Japanese! I have to admit that I am better at writing Chinese character, but I still think it's a great work = )






 Day 3, Saturday, February 12th, 2011
I took so many pictures yesterday! I would take more pictures if I remembered to take a shot immediately!
Because my big aunt came to Taipei, I had another chance to play with my nephew! We had lunch together in a Cantonese restaurant called Fu-Huang-Lo(福皇樓)

  


 Many of my relatives also came together! I showed them the hat I bought in the book expo. The hat looked great on her because it suited her pink coat!










And then one of my cousin suggested me and my nephew to an art exhibition in 3D. On the way there we bought McNugget at McDonald because it was on sale in Chinese New Year. What was special was we had honey mustard sauce for our order. They tasted great with them!

  

We finally saw the art exhibition. Before entering the door, we took pictures of our heads with the famous Mona Lisa. It was funny to do that!










Day 4, Sunday, February 13th, 2011

The last day of my winter vacation! What bothered me was that I couldn't find something to do! I felt so empty on that day. When the sky got darker. I decided to go to Taipei city hall to see lanterns. Because I went out too late at night. I didn't have much time to see all the lanterns, and my battery even died when I wanted to shoot the main lantern on the court－the rabbit lantern. The lantern was in rabbit shape because this year is rabbit year in Chinese calendar! I quickly made up my mind to went here again next time.
Still, Taipei 101 changed a new look! There was a rabbit and "100" on it!

Another cool thing I found was this. It was a gateway with IR light sensor. This idea was from Super Mario. There were several boxes near the ceiling. If people jumped when they passed through, there would be coin sounds from Mario! At the exit, you would see coins falling down! It was so cool!




Day 5, Monday, February 14th, 2011

"Today is just another busy ordinary Monday!" I thought to myself, and it was also the first day back at school. But I just realized that in such a busy schedule we forgot about many important things, like today is actually St. Valentine's Day! I didn't plan anything to do and the day just came to the end. I just hope I can slow down and capture more precious moments.



Day 6, Tuesday, February 15th, 2011

Yeah! I finally took the picture of the rabbit lantern! The rabbit would spin in all directions with music, light and fountain. Pretty cool to watch!

There were also many lanterns designed by students ranging from elementary school to university. I took pictures of cartoon character lanterns. This one was Doraemon

 It was Chopper again and Thousand Sunny! I think I like Chopper very much because he is such an adorable character.

 After that, I rushed to the stage to watch a show with Latin music! This band was called Andies Band and they were from Bolivia! I have never truly watch a performace about Latin music! They played traditional musical instrument I've never seen before. They were even wearing raincoats while they were playing music. 

The next band was more modern than the first one. Their band was called "Amigo", which means "friends" in Spanish. Two of the members could speak great Chinese! They kept saying "xie xie" during their performaces. Most of them were from Paraguay while the vocal singer was from Columbia! The distance between two countries was far away, but they still gathered up together and became friends. That was really amazing! The MC said that music and dance are Latin people's soul. I could really see that from their performance and their love of music! It was a pity that I didn't see the West African drum performace. I shouldn't be lazy otherwise I might miss so many opportunities!

After I returned home, my sister told me that the bottle juice in supermarket was on sale! A 25NTD juice was sold in 8 dollars! So we bought two full dags of bottle juice back home! It looked like this:

I had a feeling that a day could be either unforgettable or dull. The decision depends on us. If I want to live my 18 to the fullest. I should take more pictures and dare to embrace all the possibilities!

This picture is drwan by a determined graphic designer, HOBA, in Taiwan. He has drawn a series of high school students in uniform. His ambition was drawing all of the high school students in Taipei! This uniform is from Hsin-Wu high school, the high school I mentioned yesterday. I really like his drawing style especailly this one! It is so cute!

 I just got my scores today. It was so shocking!!! I only got 10 in Math, which means I couldn't study in business and finances in my many colleges! I felt so overwhelmed and frustrated that I couldn't fall asleep till midnight. My aunty was so nice that she offered me all kinds of possibilities shown on the webpage and I started to feel a little hopeful again. I was really thankful and appreciated her accompany!  


Day 13, Tuesday, February 22th, 2011

Today I stayed at home for all day, searching for my future departments. I wanted to go outside but I promised to stay at home to do my research. Anyway, I started to have a clue of my choices and I find 6 departments I'd like to study in.

 Oh no! It's night again! I need rest! I don't want my time pass away that fast! I feel like I need more time to update my blog!

Afro Chang Kai-Shek! Epic!!! Get funky! My friend drew the afro hair and I asked him to buy juice in 7-11 with that coin! XD

 




And then I visited Uncle Liao with my mom. I ordered a pizza with pork. It tastes delicious! After that, it was around 9 o'clock, it was the time for those high school students studying in evening class to go back home. They must be very hardworking!








Day 16, Friday, February 25th, 2011 
I was late for school, so I took a secret path to avoid  guards at the front door. I saw two filipino maids walking four poodles! Especially they are coffee poodles! So I decided to take a snapshot of them. They even chatted with me, "Do you think they are Keai(cute in Chinese)?" I smiled and nodded my head.





 
Day 17, Saturday, February 26th, 2011 

Ah! What a beautiful sunny Saturday! Besides, this weekend is a long weekend!(Saturday through Monday)
Such a good weather makes me a good mood! It is like my problems have all gone away! Last week was overwhelming and exhausting. I attempted to do my best but I found myself overdid and overachieve which really made me feel tired. I wasted much valuable time but the result didn't come out well as good as I thought.
Another interesting thing worth mention is that "Do you know what does vacaion really mean?" The Latin word ''vaca" means "empty and idle". It is a great time to relax, to be laid-back and let the life flow!

My laptop is missing! I was really scared because there were so many important documents applying for college in my laptop. I kept searching it back and forth from the school campus to the supermarket near my school. I watched the video recorded by the supermarket for more than 1 hour but found nothing! Fortunately, there was a teacher helped me to find the laptop and she called the drill instructor of our school, and he said he kept the laptop! I felt relieved and very happy! I am really thankful for the teacher's help.

I wrote calligraphy today for my college application portfolio. This haiku(a form of Japanese poetry) was wrote by a famous Japanese poet, Matsuo Basho. I even stamped my name at the end of the poem. It was really cool to see myself creating a piece of artwork!

A lama(Cao Ni Ma) in the classroom! Although the meaning of Cao Ni Ma is not good in Chinese but you can't deny that Cao Ni Ma is cute! I really want to buy one!








Today our school held an interview training course for every student that is qualified for the universities. I could barely wake up this morning and this morning was a bit chaotic, but I had great time at school because I met some new friends during the classes! 
I had a chaotic week but I felt calm and peaceful tonight with some soft music. I had a feeling of that life can be easy as long as you take it easy. By slowing down I could find true happiness right here right now and that was truly amazing. If I feel overwhelmed, I will keep reminding myself to appreciate the simple things: )

I went to Green Bay and Gueho with my mom, dad, sister and grandma today! Today I made a very important decision. I decided to set a theme which is an item on my bucket list! The theme is "Sun" because I wish I could be as warm as sun and give people around me sunlight! I'll read books, listen to music, doodle... all about sun for a month! I believe this theme will make me a more positive person= D

Life has been amazing. Even though I was studying all day, I still feel touched by it. I borrow a MP3 Player from my classmate and heard many nice songs and we had a good chat. I feel that I can start to appreciate more from life!
